Special Computing has released a series of videos showing some of the advanced features of their Windows CE 6.0 BSP. The BSP supports all Overo COM modules and carrier boards.

Windows CE 6.0 Network Projector running on Gumstix Overo from Adeneo Embedded
Adeneo Embedded, editor of the Windows Embedded CE 6.0 BSP for Gumstix Overo, presents in this video a Network projector demo running on Gumstix OMAP3530 based module. Joe Broxson, Senior Windows Embedded Consultant at Adeneo Embedded shows in details how Windows CE 6.0 combined with the Gumstix Overo platform can be used to implement very easily a network projector solution. This video also highlights performance of Gumstix Overo board along with Adeneo Embedded Windows CE BSP to have smooth video rendering over the network.

Adeneo Embedded Gumstix Overo BSP for Windows Embedded CE 6.0
Adeneo Embedded provides a reference Windows Embedded CE Board Support Package for Gumstix Overo.
More information on this BSP can be found on Adeneo Embedded Website.
A preliminary evaluation version of this BSP is now available for free download. This evaluation version includes a binary Windows Embedded CE demo image that allows doing basic evaluation and testing of WinCE on Gumstix Overo and a Binary Windows Embedded CE BSP to be used with Microsoft Platform Builder to generate custom Windows Embedded CE image for further evaluation and testing, including building custom OS image for specific testing. Check Gumstix Overo page on Adeneo Embedded website for detailed information on how to access to this evaluation version, and get more details on development roadmap of this BSP. This project provides a community version of a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 Board Support Package (BSP) targeted to the Gumstix Verdex platform.

Gumstix BSP for Windows Embedded CE 5.0 (Project Drumstix from We-Dig)
The Gumstix BSP for Windows Embedded CE 5.0 is available from the Drumstix project by the WE-DIG group of Redmond, Washington, USA. Prebuilt images and boot loader ready for loading onto your Gumstix platform is also available. So there is no need for Platform Builder 5.0 in a non-commercial application.
The WinCE 5.0 BSP supports the following features:

Implements a custom boot loader called we-boot
The following features of we-boot are documented:
load we-boot over u-boot
reload u-boot over we-boot
upgrade we-boot via serial, platform builder, or EShell
Flash upgrade tool via JTAG (Wiggler & Insight supported)

Startup: Download, Flash image, MMC image, CF image
Primary Download devices: STUART, FFUART (SRecord), CF, ETH1, ETH2

Among others there is a project that enables Debugging via VS2005 & Platform Builder simultaneously. This frees up the USB from debugging via ActiveSync.

Gumstix BSP for Windows Embedded CE 6.0 (Project Drumstix from We-Dig)
The Gumstix BSP for Windows Embedded CE 6.0 is available from the Drumstix project by the WE-DIG group of Redmond, Washington, USA. The connex and basix platforms are supported under CE 6.0 with all the same drivers as the 5.0 with the addition of the WiFiStix and WiFiStix-CF. The Verdex platform under 6.0 is a work-in-progress with a limited number of drivers.
